Your 4 Days Mid Range Tanzania Safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel after breakfast. We head to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic destination along the East African Rift Valley. The drive takes around two hours, and once there, you’ll encounter a unique ecosystem filled with wildlife. Lake Manyara is renowned for its large colonies of flamingos and other water birds, making this stop a fantastic introduction to Tanzania’s natural beauty. Along with birdlife, you’ll have the chance to spot elephants, giraffes, hippos, and even tree-climbing lions, a unique sight specific to this park. By late afternoon, we’ll drive to your comfortable lodge in Karatu, where you can relax and enjoy the evening.
On the second day of your 4 Days Mid Range Tanzania Safari, we set out early for the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Known for its sweeping plains and rich wildlife, the Serengeti is home to the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos—as well as many other fascinating species. As part of this mid-range safari, you’ll enjoy extensive game drives that showcase the incredible biodiversity and landscapes of the Serengeti. With some luck, you might witness the breathtaking spectacle of the Great Migration (seasonal), where wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move in vast herds. At the end of the day, you’ll head to your mid-range camp or lodge for an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
After breakfast, we continue your 4 Days Mid Range Tanzania Safari with a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most stunning natural wonders in Africa. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known as a microcosm of East African wildlife.
Upon descending into the crater, you’ll have the chance to see lions, rhinos, hippos, elephants, and a variety of birds within the crater’s unique ecosystem. This day offers ample wildlife viewing and photo opportunities in one of Tanzania’s most scenic landscapes. After a full day of exploration, we’ll return to your lodge in Karatu for a restful evening.
The final day of your 4 Days Mid Range Tanzania Safari takes you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. This park is a highlight for many visitors due to its unique landscape and diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
As you journey through Tarangire, you’ll see a variety of animals gathering around the Tarangire River, especially in the dry season. After an exciting final day of game viewing, we will drive back to Arusha or Moshi, concluding your unforgettable 4 Days Mid Range Tanzania Safari.
